Description

High Performance Alkaline Liquid Membrane Cleaner 

NLR 505 is a unique blend of surfactants and chelating agents in a caustic liquid membrane cleaner.

This unique cleaner targets organics, biological components, lignins, dyes and oil & grease. NLR 505 is usually used in a 3% concentration resulting in a pH of 11.5. It is compatible with most microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes.

The NLR 505 formula can be easily customized to control the pH to within the limits of your specific membrane.

NLR 505 is often paired with NLR 404 when a more comprehensive two-stage cleaning is needed to remove a wider range of foulants. This is especially effective for waste streams that contain a variety of fouling bodies. The liquid formula is ideal for automated CIP systems with chemical dosing and allows for ease of handling.
